A story has been shared about a resident who was injured after unknowingly using a treadmill that was still on at an apartment gym.

On the 29th, a post titled "Apartment Gym Treadmill Accident" was uploaded on the online community BobaeDream. The author, Mr. A, explained, "A few days ago, my young daughter got into an accident while stepping onto the treadmill at the apartment gym," adding, "The cause of the accident was that an elderly gentleman who was exercising before did not turn off the power switch, and my daughter, unaware of this, stepped on it and fell, injuring her knee."

Photos attached by Mr. A show that both of his daughter's knees were severely injured, with skin scraped off and bleeding. Mr. A expressed his frustration, saying, "When my wife confronted the elderly gentleman about this, he arrogantly shouted back, 'Do I have to turn off the switch before leaving?'"

Netizens responded with various comments such as, "The daughter was partly at fault for not checking before using the treadmill," "It seems no one is 100% to blame," and "Seeing the knee photos makes me hurt just looking at them."

Subsequently, a "Treadmill Usage Caution Notice" was posted at the gym. The notice included photos of Mr. A's daughter's injured knees and stated, "Please press the 'Stop' button to halt the treadmill when finishing your workout or when stepping away briefly."
