'On Vacation' Kim Dong-yeon: "Volunteering with the 'Love Jjajang Car' in Paju on the 31st"

Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon will volunteer for the ‘Love Jjajangcar’ on the 31st in Paju City, his vacation spot.

On the 30th, Governor Kim posted on his social media (SNS), "My wife has been volunteering for the ‘Love Jjajangcar’ since the election, and she has continued it for several years now," introducing, "They mainly provide free jjajangmyeon for lunch to seniors, people with disabilities, disaster victims, and ordinary citizens."

He added, "The ‘Love Jjajangcar’ team learned through SNS that we are on vacation and kindly offered to volunteer near where we are going," and said, "Tomorrow, we decided to volunteer with the Jjajangcar at the Chorongkkot Village LH Apartment Complex (17 Chorongkkot-ro, Paju City) in Paju."

He continued, "If anyone wants to volunteer, you can come anytime after 9:30 AM tomorrow, and those who want to eat jjajangmyeon can come from 11:30 AM," adding, "My wife and I are on vacation, so it won’t be for long, but we plan to volunteer briefly and have jjajangmyeon for lunch."

Governor Kim said, "I am currently on my way to Pocheon and Dongducheon, having a simple breakfast under a parasol at the Sudong Rest Area on the Seoul Metropolitan Area 2nd Ring Expressway," and shared, "Many people from not only Gyeonggi Province but also Seoul, Gyeongnam, and Gangwon recognized me and greeted me, which was nice. I also warmly greeted and took photos with a young farmer selling homegrown corn."
