PI Advanced Materials is showing strong performance in early trading following news of its impressive second-quarter results.

The surge in buying interest is attributed to the announcement of a more than 600% increase in operating profit for the second quarter, reflecting strong earnings.

PI Advanced Materials disclosed on the 30th that its standalone operating profit for the second quarter reached 17.702 billion KRW, marking a 616.8% increase compared to the same period last year.

During the same period, sales rose 22.4% to 73.713 billion KRW. Net profit for the period was provisionally estimated at 13.478 billion KRW, up 518.9%.
