Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, will go on summer vacation from the 29th to the 31st of this month.
On the evening of the 26th, Governor Kim posted on his social media (SNS), "The Gyeonggi Tour Pass allows you to travel around various places in Gyeonggi Province for 24 hours at just around 10,000 won! I bought a three-day pass for next week's vacation," reporting his holiday plans to the residents.
He added, "If you purchase it by the 31st of this month, you can use it at a special summer vacation discount price," and asked, "Where shall we travel in Gyeonggi Province? I welcome recommendations!"
It is known that Governor Kim will visit major tourist attractions in northern Gyeonggi using the ‘Gyeonggi Tour Pass’ during this vacation.
Earlier, last month, Gyeonggi Province launched the season pass ‘Gyeonggi Tour Pass,’ which allows free access for a certain period to 69 popular tourist destinations and 16 cafes and dessert shops within the province, including Gwangmyeong Cave, Petite France, and Anseong Farmland.
First launched in August last year, over 24,000 passes were sold in four months. This year, the pass was expanded to include 24-hour (19,900 won), 48-hour (25,900 won), and 72-hour (35,900 won) options.
