Doosan Enerbility Q2 Operating Profit 309.8 Billion KRW... 37% Decrease YoY

Doosan Enerbility announced on the 26th that its operating profit for the second quarter was 309.8 billion KRW, a decrease of 37.3% compared to the same period last year.

Sales amounted to 4.1505 trillion KRW, down 8.5%, and net profit for the period decreased by 15.9% to 220.7 billion KRW.

In the bidding competition for the new Dukovany nuclear power plant in the Czech Republic, "Team Korea," led by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and consisting of Doosan Enerbility, Daewoo Engineering & Construction, and Korea Electric Power Technology, was selected as the preferred negotiator, defeating the French Electric Utility Company (EDF).
