Goryeong County Opens Summer Water Playground at Daegaya Living Village

Water Gun Play and Other Events Until the 15th of Next Month

Goryeong County (Governor Lee Namcheol) will operate a water play area at Daegaya Living Village from June 27 to August 15 to welcome the full arrival of summer.

In addition to the existing water playground, Daegaya Living Village will install an air bounce and a slide pool, and hold events such as water gun games on weekends, offering a cool summer experience for families to enjoy together.

The water play area will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:40 PM, with 40 minutes of operation and 20 minutes of rest every hour. It will be closed on Mondays.

Besides the water play area, Daegaya Living Village offers visitors a variety of flowers and harmonious landscaping. Taking photos against the backdrop of blooming sunflowers and limelight hydrangeas is perfect for creating lasting memories.

During this period, guests can also make the most of their visit by staying at Hangichon, the accommodation facilities in Daegaya Living Village, which consist of Giwa Village and Choga Village, and enjoy the beautiful scenery and various programs the village has to offer.

Governor Lee Namcheol of Goryeong County said, "There are a variety of programs prepared for family tourists, including refreshing water play and hands-on activities. I hope everyone will make joyful memories in Goryeong during the summer vacation."

At the Goryeong Children's Science Experience Center, located in Daegaya Living Village, visitors will also be able to participate in related activities such as making water rockets and boats during the water play period.
