Receive Nationwide University Admission and Career Counseling at Dongmyung University 'Open Campus'

Tongmyong University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) will hold an "Open Campus" event offering college admissions and career counseling for prospective students and their parents. The event will take place on August 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the same day, ten college admissions experts (admissions counseling teachers) will provide counseling on admissions to all universities nationwide for approximately 300 prospective students and parents. Tongmyong University admissions officers will offer one-on-one, customized admissions counseling for Tongmyong University. The Tongmyong University Open Campus has been held for three consecutive years since 2022.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore various majors at Tongmyong University and gain diverse information related to career paths. They can also enjoy tours of various facilities, including the university cafeteria, and participate in photo zone events.

Kwak Okgeum, Director of the Admissions Promotion Office at Tongmyong University, emphasized, "Through the Open Campus, we aim to provide prospective students and parents who are considering college admissions and career exploration with valuable information and optimal opportunities for career discovery, thereby alleviating the burden of the college entrance process."

For the 2025 academic year, Tongmyong University will recruit 1,392 students?97.8% of its total enrollment quota?through the early admission process (application period: September 9 to 13). In the 2024 academic year, the university established new departments and majors, including Emergency Medical Technology, Companion Animal Industry, Hair Design, Makeup Design, Game Graphics, Hotel Culinary and Bakery, K-sports Taekwondo, Soccer, and Entrepreneurship.

Additionally, the College of Beauty Arts (Beauty Care, Hair Design, Makeup Design, and Fashion Design) was newly launched as an independent college. For the 2025 academic year, the Do-ing College introduced the Leisure and Horseback Riding Department.

Recently, based on the 2023 university information disclosure for universities with over 1,000 graduates, Tongmyong University recorded an employment rate of 65.4%, higher than the Busan regional average of 61.97%, demonstrating strong performance in employment outcomes.
