Hwang Hee-young, CEO of Open Survey, Receives Prime Minister's Commendation as Model Female Entrepreneur

Hwang Hee-young, CEO of the data analysis specialist company 'Open Survey' (photo), was selected as an exemplary female entrepreneur and received a Prime Minister's Commendation.

CEO Hwang Hee-young was recognized for her contributions to the national economy, fostering a female-friendly corporate culture, and worker-centered management, and received the Prime Minister's Commendation for exemplary female entrepreneurs in July of this year.

The Exemplary Female Entrepreneur Commendation, hosted and organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, is awarded to female business leaders who serve as role models by actively striving for management rationalization, technological development, and sound entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to exemplary female entrepreneurs, the association selects meritorious individuals who contribute to the development and promotion of women-owned businesses, including exemplary female workers (employees), contributors to the promotion of women-owned businesses, and organizations.

Since assuming the role of CEO of Open Survey in 2016, CEO Hwang has contributed to data-driven decision-making and digital transformation for domestic and international companies through the consumer data platform. In December last year, the company launched Data Space, a B2B SaaS (Business-to-Business Software as a Service) platform, supporting companies in customer experience management and jointly achieving results. Open Survey's average sales growth rate over the past five years is 26%, and its sales revenue reached 15.2 billion KRW as of 2023.
