Dangchon Village in Seochang-dong, Yangsan-si, Filmed for TV Chosun's "Famous Health Methods"

Seochang-dong in Yangsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do announced that TV Chosun filmed an episode of 'Famous Health Methods' at the Dangchon Village Senior Center on the 24th.

'Famous Health Methods' is a program that introduces anti-aging health routines for maintaining youth and features people who have started a vibrant second chapter in life. The episode is scheduled to air on Saturday, August 17, at 10:50 a.m.

Dangchon Village is a representative longevity village, with 100 out of its 244 residents being over the age of 65, including its oldest resident at 102 years old.

The village especially highlighted 'community togetherness' and 'a regular lifestyle with a healthy diet' as the secrets to longevity. At the Dangchon Village Senior Center, residents prepare and share lunch together every day, taking care of their health through communal meals.

Min Mikyung, head of Seochang-dong, said, "We expect this filming to be a positive experience for our seniors to lead healthy and energetic lives," and added, "We will do our best to provide administrative services so that our seniors can enjoy a happy retirement at the senior center."
