On the 24th, 'Yonhap News' reported that the Michuhol Police Station in Incheon is investigating a teenager, identified as A, on suspicion of special property damage. A is accused of shooting dozens of 6mm-diameter steel marbles from the upper floor of his 14-story apartment in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, toward the ground parking lot at around 4:30 a.m. two days earlier, on the 22nd, damaging the windows of 10 vehicles.
After receiving the report, the police reviewed the apartment's surrounding closed-circuit television (CCTV) and conducted inquiries, which led them to identify A as the suspect. Specific personal information about A has not been disclosed. However, it has been confirmed that A is not a criminal minor under the age of 14.
The police decided not to reveal the tool used to shoot the steel marbles, fearing that other youths might imitate A's crime. They also plan to investigate the detailed circumstances of the incident involving the use of steel marbles by A.
