Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and International Career Launch Full-Scale Internship-Type Future Tomorrow Work Experience Program

This training is a project by the Ministry of Employment and Labor aimed at providing various quality work experience opportunities to unemployed youth with little work experience, supporting their smooth entry into the labor market. In March, the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce was selected as the Future Tomorrow Work Experience Honam Region Support Center, and Gukje Career participates as the operating agency in the Gwangju area, serving as a stepping stone connecting companies and youth.

According to the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce, the internship-type work experience promoted by Gukje Career is a project where unemployed youth aged 15 to 34 directly perform tasks at companies to strengthen their job competencies. It offers various internship-type work experiences through over 60 public institutions and small and medium enterprises, including Gwangju Transportation Corporation, Gwangju Tourism Organization, Gwangju Institute, Gwangju Green Car Promotion Agency, and Korea Energy Agency Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters.

Gukje Career has been conducting preliminary job training for participating youth who applied in the fields of office administration and advertising/marketing since the 22nd, including basic common courses (business manners, communication techniques) and job specialization courses (OA training, practical training in promotion and marketing) for two weeks. Only those who complete the training will be provided with internship-type work experience for 20 weeks starting from August 5.
