Special Offer: 10,000 Won One-Way Ticket Event
T'way Air will become the first domestic low-cost carrier (LCC) to launch the Incheon-Frankfurt route.
On the 24th, T'way Air announced that it will begin operating the Incheon-Frankfurt route three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) starting October 3. The flight departs Incheon Airport at 10:20 a.m. and arrives at Frankfurt am Main Airport at 5:40 p.m. local time. The return flight departs Frankfurt am Main Airport at 7:40 p.m. and arrives at Incheon Airport around 2:50 p.m. the next day.
An A330-200 aircraft (246 seats) will be deployed on this route. Compared to the B737 aircraft used on existing short- and medium-haul routes, the seat pitch is up to 11 cm wider. Of the total 246 seats, 18 are configured as business class. For in-flight meals, both economy and business class passengers will be provided with two complimentary meals per one-way trip.
Since starting flights to Croatia in May, T'way Air has been actively expanding its European routes. Within this year, it plans to operate stable services on the Incheon-Rome (from August 8), Barcelona (from September 11), Paris (from August 28), and Frankfurt (from October 3) routes.
To celebrate the launch, a discount event will be held. From 10 a.m. on the 29th for two days, airfares will be offered at 10,000 KRW. Including fuel surcharges and airport taxes, tickets can be purchased for a total one-way price of 119,900 KRW per person.
From 10 a.m. on July 25 to August 4, entering the discount code '독일' (Germany) when booking tickets will provide a 10% discount on smart fares or higher (applicable to some event fares on certain dates). Additionally, a 100,000 KRW discount coupon, a 20,000 KRW first-come-first-served coupon for NongHyup Card users, and other discounts will be offered. Detailed information on special fares and discounts can be found on the T'way Air website.
A T'way Air representative stated, "We will do our best to ensure a pleasant journey with the best service and safe operations as we successfully launch all European routes."
