The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahakyeongeum) announced on the 23rd that it conducted customized training for 18 newly hired employees this year at its headquarters in Naju on the 16th.
In the first part of the training, a lecture was held to learn about anti-corruption and integrity policies and laws that new employees must know. Ryu Chun-yeol, a standing auditor and a professional instructor at the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Integrity Training Center, explained ▲ the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act ▲ the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act ▲ the Code of Conduct for Employees (including prohibition of abuse of power in duties), among others.
In the second part of the training, as members of Sahakyeongeum, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to comply with laws and regulations and to perform their duties with integrity and fairness so that the organization can be trusted by the public as a public institution. The anti-corruption commitment was also emphasized through simulated training on the use of the reporting center and counseling window.
Standing Auditor Ryu Chun-yeol said, “This training was a valuable time to nurture integrity talents who will lead the new 50 years of Sahakyeongeum,” and added, “Going forward, Sahakyeongeum will do its best to strengthen the organization's overall anti-corruption capabilities, with everyone from the head of the institution to new employees united to lead a transparent public service society.”
