Strengthening Payment Protection Safety to Minimize Seller Attrition and Customer Inconvenience
Advancing Payment Timing
Tmon and Wemakeprice have decided to introduce a new settlement system to support fast and secure payment to sellers. The system will securely hold funds in connection with a third-party financial institution and support quick settlements.
On the 23rd, Tmon and Wemakeprice announced that they will introduce a new settlement system in August to safely protect settlement funds and pay them quickly, minimizing seller attrition and customer inconvenience caused by recent temporary settlement delays.
Previously, when customers made payments, the funds were held by each company and paid out according to the seller's settlement date. The new system will hold funds at a secure third-party financial institution and pay sellers after customers confirm their purchases. Tmon and Wemakeprice will charge platform usage fees for product sales.
All payment funds will be securely protected, and the payment dates will be significantly advanced, making weekly settlements possible at the earliest. Both companies plan to introduce the new settlement system to sellers in August and provide guidance on how to use it.
The company stated, “We decided to implement this system to enhance the safety of product payment disbursements and support faster settlements,” adding, “We will do our best to quickly resolve settlement delays and increase trust among sellers and customers.”
