On the day, NH Investment & Securities held a Samgyetang sharing event and delivered 600 servings of Samgyetang, 300 boxes (3kg) of kimchi, and watermelons. The event was attended by Lim Cheolsun, Head of ESG Division at NH Investment & Securities, Jeong Byeongchang, Secretary General of Gwangya Homeless Center, and Kim Hyeongok, Director of Yeongdeungpo Jjokbang Counseling Center.
Since 2013, NH Investment & Securities has held an annual Samgyetang sharing and serving event, but from 2020, due to COVID-19 and other factors, it became difficult to hold the event in person, so they delivered packaged Samgyetang instead. From 2022, rather than cooking and packaging on site, they have been supporting instant Samgyetang products from the perspective of hygiene and ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) management.
NH Investment & Securities has been conducting sharing activities in Yeongdeungpo jjokbangchon since 2013, continuously engaging in social contribution activities by delivering health foods like Samgyetang in summer and briquettes and necessary supplies in winter.
Lim Cheolsun, Head of ESG Division at NH Investment & Securities, said, "We prepared the event with the heart of providing a healthy meal to the elderly," adding, "NH Investment & Securities will continue to practice diverse and sustainable social contribution activities for the local community and neighbors."
