In Yeongyang-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, the '2024 Public Officials Integrity Talk Concert' was held on the afternoon of the 22nd at 2 PM in the main conference room of the Yeongyang County Office.
This concert was organized to break away from the rigid framework of traditional integrity education, allowing employees to enjoy cultural performances related to integrity, thereby fostering a voluntary mindset of integrity and improving organizational culture.
The event, titled the '2024 Public Officials Integrity Talk Concert,' featured segments such as 'Talk to You with County Governor Oh Dochang,' a Q&A session with an integrity lawyer to reaffirm the code of conduct and commitment to integrity for public officials, as well as cultural performances including an integrity-themed comedy show and a popera performance by 'SPES.'
Currently, the county is striving to enhance integrity by holding 'abuse of power prevention training' and an 'integrity pledge ceremony' for 32 senior officials, including the Yeongyang County Governor, last June, in an effort to create a more transparent public service culture.
County Governor Oh Dochang stated, "I hope the 2024 Public Officials Integrity Talk Concert serves as an opportunity to enhance the integrity of our staff and address vulnerable areas prone to corruption," and added, "I appreciate your attendance at the integrity education despite your busy schedules, and I ask all public officials to do their utmost to realize a transparent Yeongyang."
