Busan Office of Education Cheongbaekri Supporters Lead Integrity and Communication in Organizational Culture

Operating Integrity SNS, Planning Integrity Campaigns and Events

Contributing to the Spread of Integrity Values and Culture from a Youth Perspective

The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education announced on the 23rd that the "Cheongbaekri Supporters," formed last April, are playing a key role in spreading the value of integrity and fostering a culture of communication within the organization.

On the afternoon of the 19th, about 30 people, including the Cheongbaekri Supporters and staff from the city office of education, visited the Saedeulwon child welfare facility to participate in the "Sharing Integrity with Love Through Baking" volunteer activity.

This activity was initiated and prepared by the participants themselves, aiming to spread a culture of integrity led by the MZ generation and to realize love for neighbors through volunteer work.

They delivered homemade bread, daily necessities, and school supplies, and also carried out facility maintenance activities such as weeding to help create a pleasant childcare environment.

The Cheongbaekri Supporters are carrying out various activities not only through this volunteer work but also to create and spread a new culture of integrity.

They have launched and are operating integrity-related social media channels such as YouTube and Naver Blog, and in June, they conducted the "Environment UP! Integrity UP! Integrity Plogging" activity at Busan Citizens Park as well as a "Public Finance Recovery Act Promotion Campaign."

In particular, in September, the Cheongbaekri Supporters will host the "Integrity Culture Day," which they planned and will operate themselves. This event will feature a variety of programs that allow participants to reflect on the meaning of integrity in daily life, including performances and calligraphy shows prepared by the supporters and students, as well as lectures by prominent speakers.

Through these activities, it is expected that the MZ generation will naturally share the newly interpreted values of integrity from a youth perspective.

Busan Metropolitan City Superintendent of Education Ha Yoonsoo said, "The active work of the Cheongbaekri Supporters is greatly contributing to the creation of a new culture of integrity within our office of education," adding, "The city office of education will not only support their activities but also pursue various policies to take the lead in spreading a culture of integrity within the educational community."

The third-term Cheongbaekri Supporters consists of 20 members, including MZ generation local public officials and teachers from both public and private schools, born in the 1980s and 1990s.
