‘Diana Open Runner-up’ Yu Hae-ran, World Ranking 22nd → 20th Yoo Hae-ran

In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 22nd (local time), she earned 3.73 points, jumping two spots from 22nd last week. She accumulated points by finishing second by one stroke (19-under 265) at the Dana Open (total prize money $1.75 million) held the previous day at Highland Meadows Golf Club (par 71, 6,555 yards) in Silvania, Ohio, USA, part of the LPGA Tour. Although she missed her second career win nine months after her first victory at the Arkansas Championship last October, she achieved her best personal result this year. This marks her seventh top-10 finish of the season.

There was little change among the top-ranked players who did not participate in the Dana Open. Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu (both from the USA), and Ko Jin-young maintained the top three positions. For Korea, Yang Hee-young ranked 4th, Kim Hyo-joo 13th, Shin Ji-ae 28th, and Lee Ye-won 30th. Dana Open champion Chanette Wannasen (Thailand) jumped ten spots from 43rd last week to 33rd.
