Learn 'SNS Marketing' to Open Doors Wide for Employment and Startups at Mapo District Office

Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Kang-su) announced that it is recruiting students for a special SNS marketing lecture to help with employment and entrepreneurship, targeting women with career interruptions and prospective entrepreneurs until August 2.


This training is designed to effectively carry out promotion and brand creation using SNS such as blogs and Instagram, aiming to facilitate efficient business operations and sustainable content production.


Mapo-gu has prepared a total of three sessions by inviting experts in brand consulting and entrepreneurship.


The first session will be held on August 8, featuring consultant Kim In-sook, CEO of Vista and author of "I Make a Living Doing What I Like," who will give a lecture titled "The Beginning of My Personal Branding."


The second session on August 12 will have ceramic artist Kim So-young explain SNS promotional marketing strategies for prospective entrepreneurs, focusing on the craft field.


The final third session will take place on August 13, where Lee Seung-yoon, CEO of WM Academy and author of "The 1% Blog Marketing Rules," will introduce "The Easiest Naver Marketing in the World."


All sessions will be held free of charge at the audiovisual room of Mapo-gu Office. To participate, applicants can apply via the QR code on the promotional poster or contact the Mapo-gu Family Happiness Support Division.


Park Kang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "Marketing using SNS is the most efficient strategy to quickly raise brand awareness at low cost," adding, "I hope this training becomes an opportunity for women with career interruptions to participate in society and for prospective entrepreneurs to enhance their business promotion capabilities."


In addition, Mapo-gu operates a "Customized Counseling Center for Women with Career Interruptions" within the Mapo Job Center, supporting various employment and entrepreneurship activities in cooperation with local job agencies.
