Korea Housing Finance Corporation Signs Business Agreement with Health Checkup Institutions
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, President Choi Junwoo) has signed business agreements with 10 health screening institutions nationwide to allow reverse mortgage users (themselves, their spouses, and children) to receive health check-up services at discounted prices.
Korea Housing Pension Corporation is signing a business agreement to connect health checkup services for housing pension users.
The partner institutions include Korea Association of Health Promotion (nationwide), KMI Korea Medical Institute (nationwide), Bumin Hospital (Seoul), GC IMED (Seoul), Hanaro Leaders Healthcare (Seoul), Hanshin Medipia (Seoul), Haeundae Bumin Hospital (Busan), Esam Hospital (Busan), Dong-Eui Hospital (Busan), and Sejong National Health Screening Center (Sejong).
This agreement aims to support a healthy retirement for the elderly and middle-aged. When reverse mortgage users (themselves or their spouses) and their children use comprehensive health screening services at institutions partnered with HF, they can receive the services at discounted prices compared to the general public.
If a reverse mortgage subscriber wishes to use the service, they must make a reservation at a partner screening institution and bring their reverse mortgage subscription certificate on the day of the check-up. If the subscriber's spouse or children wish to use the service, they must also bring a certificate of family relationship.
An HF official stated, "We will continue to strive to provide services through various channels to support healthy and vibrant retirement lives for reverse mortgage users and to enhance customer satisfaction."
