Gurye-gun Operates 'Whole Family Exercise' Experience Program

Dream Start Children Provided with Rafting Experience Opportunity to Build Family Bonds

On the 20th, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it conducted the "Whole Family Exercise (Seomjingang Rafting Experience) Program" for 24 Dream Start children and their parents along the Seomjingang River.

This program was organized to promote the healthy growth and development of Dream Start children by connecting community resources and to strengthen cooperation and bonds among family members.

The children who participated in the program enjoyed a fun time with their families by experiencing rafting, water play, diving, and banana boat rides after light warm-up exercises and safety accident prevention education.

Kim Soon-ho, the county governor, said, "Through this program, I hope children on summer vacation will feel the joy of physical activity and strengthen cooperation and unity within their families." He added, "We will continue to discover various programs that help Dream Start children’s physical growth and career planning."
