The Residents' Representative Council of Donghwa Ai Wish at Jukjeon Station in Dalseo-gu, Daegu (Chairperson Kim Nakyung) announced on the 22nd that, in celebration of the second anniversary of move-in, it delivered over 2,000 daily necessities (worth approximately 4 million KRW), donated by residents through a sharing challenge, to Hodongwon, a child welfare facility in Nam-gu, Daegu.
The Residents' Representative Council of Donghwa Ai Wish at Jukjeon Station in Dalseo-gu, Daegu, along with the residents, are drawing attention for practicing sharing with the local community in need through the 'Good Sharing Challenge.'
Residents of Donghwa Iwish near Jukjeon Station in Dalseo-gu, Daegu, are delivering 2,000 daily necessities to Hodongwon, a child welfare facility.
The 'Good Sharing Challenge,' planned and hosted by the Residents' Representative Council (Chairperson Kim Nakyung), was held for 14 days starting from the 1st. In celebration of the second anniversary of move-in, residents checked the list of items needed by child welfare facilities and anonymously donated unused household goods by placing them in donation boxes set up at the entrance of each apartment building.
Kim Nakyung, Chairperson of the Residents' Representative Council, said, "This challenge, held together with the local community, was a meaningful time for apartment residents to share their warm hearts," and added, "We will continue to actively engage in social contribution activities to help develop the local community." She also expressed her gratitude to the residents who participated in the challenge.
Cho Jaegu, Mayor of Nam-gu, Daegu, stated, "Thanks to those who join in creating a community where we live together, our children will grow up to be healthier and happier adults," and added, "Thank you once again for gathering your warm hearts and practicing care and sharing for the children, who are our future."
