Recognition of Inclusive Finance Capabilities Following Mid-sized Finance and Sustainable Finance Sectors
IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 22nd that it has received the 'Best SME Finance Bank Award in Korea' and the 'Best Inclusive Finance Bank Award in Korea' from the global financial magazine Euromoney.
With this award, IBK Industrial Bank has been selected as the best bank in the SME finance sector this year by four organizations: Global Finance, Euromoney, The Asian Banker, and Asia Money.
Euromoney cited the following reasons for the 'SME Finance' award: ▲ Efforts to support SMEs in overcoming crises ▲ Efforts to foster startups and innovative companies such as establishing IBK Venture Investment and expanding IBK Changgong ▲ Providing innovative digital services like IBK BOX ▲ Playing a role in creating the SME M&A market ▲ Offering customized free consulting services for SMEs, recognizing the broad financial and non-financial support for SMEs.
In addition, IBK Industrial Bank also received an award in the 'Inclusive Finance' category. Euromoney highlighted the following reasons: ▲ Various welfare programs such as capacity-building support for foreign workers and multicultural families ▲ Support for disabled artists through IBK Together and IBK Dream Wings ▲ Practical self-reliance support for socially vulnerable groups through IBK Hope Narae ▲ Fulfilling corporate citizenship roles through cultural and artistic social contribution projects like IBK Yesullo ▲ Practical self-reliance support for marginalized groups through welfare support for SME workers via the IBK Happiness Sharing Foundation.
