Doosan Enerbility Achieves 1 Trillion KRW in Gas Turbine Sector Orders

Doosan Enerbility has surpassed 1 trillion KRW in orders in the gas turbine sector within a year.

Doosan Enerbility announced on the 22nd that it recently signed a contract worth 580 billion KRW with Korea Midland Power for the Ham-an Combined Cycle Power Plant.

Under this contract, Doosan Enerbility will undertake the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) of the power block at the Ham-an Combined Cycle Power Plant, from design to main equipment manufacturing, supply, and construction, with completion scheduled by 2027. Doosan Enerbility will supply a 380MW-class ultra-large gas turbine made with purely domestic technology, as well as steam turbines and auxiliary equipment.

With this order, Doosan Enerbility achieved the 'Triple Crown' in July by securing all contracts for manufacturing, service, and construction of K-gas turbines. Since starting the main equipment supply contract for the Boryeong New Combined Cycle Power Plant with Korea Midland Power in June last year, the cumulative order amount for manufacturing and servicing main equipment, including ultra-large power generation gas turbines, has exceeded 1 trillion KRW over about one year.

Lee Hyun-ho, Head of Plant EPC BG at Doosan Enerbility, said, "With this contract, we have been recognized for both power plant construction capabilities and main equipment manufacturing capabilities, and we will continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the global power generation market."

Doosan Enerbility aims to accumulate over 100 orders for power generation gas turbines by 2038 and expects to achieve sales of 1 trillion KRW in the gas turbine service sector alone by 2038.
