AI Parenting Consultation Feature Added to 'Bumonara' App
Learned Parenting Senior Mode Provides Solutions to Questions
LG Uplus announced on the 22nd that it has launched 'ixi Childcare Manager,' a real-time childcare consultation service utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). Users of the app 'Bumonara,' which helps solve parenting concerns, can utilize answers from the childcare-specialized AI in their parenting.

Launched in September last year, 'Bumonara' is an application targeting parents of infants and toddlers, the core customers of the kids-only service ‘Aideulnara,’ providing essential childcare information. It is a service that conveniently solves childcare and play concerns, and surpassed 100,000 cumulative downloads within 10 months after its official launch.
The newly added ixi Childcare Manager is a service where AI provides real-time childcare consultations. When parents post questions related to childcare or education, the ixi Childcare Manager, trained in the mode of a working mom and experienced parent, quickly responds.
For example, if a user asks, "What kind of discipline should I use for a whining child?" the ixi Childcare Manager, which has learned solutions from childcare expert Dr. Noh Gyusik who appeared on the broadcast 'Our Child Has Changed Returns,' suggests solutions such as, "Maintain calmness and clearly explain to the child the behaviors that are allowed and those that are not, as well as the parents' expectations." Additionally, if there is relevant content available on Bumonara or Aideulnara, related content is also provided.
LG Uplus also introduces the consultation service 'Childcare Counseling Center,' which provides answers from famous experts in video format. When parents submit stories about their concerns, Dr. Noh Gyusik provides video responses based on the user's profile and personality diagnosis results.
Furthermore, Bumonara has added services such as 'Play Letter,' containing play information that parents raising children might be curious about, and 'DoranDoran Letter,' which includes reading activities to do with children after watching Aideulnara.
Kim Daeho, Head of Aideulnara at LG Uplus, said, "We are continuously upgrading the service to make Bumonara a growth care platform that can solve all parenting concerns comprehensively." He added, "We will continue to improve the Bumonara service to provide differentiated childcare experiences to parents and become their childcare companion."
