Gangwon Branch Opening Marketing
iM Bank (formerly DGB Daegu Bank) announced on the 18th that it held a “Business Agreement Ceremony for Revitalizing Personal Marketing in Out-of-Region Areas” with Ediya Coffee at its Daegu headquarters to support nationwide marketing activities following its transition to a commercial bank.
The first event under this agreement is the opening event for the newly established “Wonju Branch” in the Gangwon region, scheduled to open at the end of July. Starting in August, during the event period, customers who have not logged into the iM Bank application (app) at Ediya Coffee stores in the Gangwon region can receive a 10,000 KRW Ediya Coffee coupon immediately by logging into the app and scanning the iM Bank poster QR code at the Ediya Coffee stores in Gangwon.
In mid-August, the same event will be held at Ediya Coffee stores in Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, and additionally, the first 10,000 customers on the iM Bank app will be offered a free 50% discount coupon for a large Americano.
Son Dae-kwon, Executive Director of iM Bank’s Personal Customer Group, stated, “Starting with the Wonju Branch, we plan to continue regional marketing through partnerships with Ediya Coffee in areas such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, and Jeonju, where new branches are planned to open.” He added, “Through this partnership with Ediya Coffee, which is conveniently accessible anytime and anywhere, iM Bank will become a convenient bank that is with its customers.”
