Integrit releases 'On Device AI Edge Box' implementing AI smartphone technology

Integrit releases 'On Device AI Edge Box' implementing AI smartphone technology [Integrit's On-Device AI Edge System, AirPass V3 Edge Series]

Integrit, a robotics platform specialist company, announced the launch of AirPath® V3 Edge, a high-performance on-device AI edge system embedded with generative LLM and multimodal AI.

The AirPath V3 Edge AI system is equipped with Qualcomm® QCS8550 processor from Qualcomm Technologies, providing fast analysis speed, up to twice the battery life compared to the previous generation, seamless Wi-Fi and 5G handover, and significantly extended device usage time in mobility environments requiring high-speed, low-latency data and low power consumption. It supports the development and commercialization of AI devices offering high-quality generative multimodal AI services.

Additionally, it features multimodal AI integrating a lightweight Korean language model SLM (Small Language Model) based on LLAMA LLM for generative AI services in an on-device AI environment, and Vision AI providing real-time video analysis. This enables various AI missions to be processed within the device, enhancing speed and security, and can be utilized in the development of humanoid robots that provide immediate AI analysis results in language and behavior, high-performance hyper (multipurpose) robots, and AI human kiosks.

On-device AI analyzes data in real-time through embedded AI models on-site without transmitting personal or corporate information to external clouds, and immediately discards it, ensuring a high level of security and protection of personal data. This allows fast and secure services in generative AI translation services requiring multilingual support, as well as medical and safety services that require responses based on gender and age.

The AirPath V3 Edge AI system supports ▲Android, Linux, Ubuntu, and the latest ROS2 operating systems, ▲built-in generative language models based on the latest on-device AI, ▲AI full stack including Vision AI and data lightweighting, and ▲a wide range of open AI frameworks, providing an open development environment that supports the expansion of various AI applications occurring on-site and improves the usability between different AI models.

The AirPath V3 product is an edge AI system specialized for mobile environments requiring low-power on-device AI, delivering 48TOPS in low-power environments through Qualcomm Technologies’ Hexagon NPU. It can simultaneously process real-time AI inference for video from up to five cameras including MIPI, GMSL2, and IP standards, and can remotely transmit ultra-low latency real-time video based on WebRTC through the built-in 5G private network module.

In February, Integrit received the first certification from ETRI, a domestic 5G private network official certification body, for the AirPath® system that integrates the 5G private network communication module into a single AI hardware system.

The AirPath V3 Edge AI system effectively responds to on-device AI, 5G, and cloud hybrid environments, providing up to 32 types of data as lightweight AI datasets for real-time generative AI and intelligent video analysis. It can easily interoperate and expand with existing intranets in industrial sites requiring more sophisticated safety management, supporting the construction of reliable digital twins.

Moreover, it enables rapid and low-cost establishment of advanced edge AI computing environments from next-generation intelligent robots and smart mobility to AI home concierge devices, as well as distribution, commerce, medical services, education, security and safety management, smart factories, and industrial applications where AI transition is required, all demanding high performance, low power, and lightweight AI.

Lee Chang-seok, CEO of Integrit, stated, “AI transformation to accommodate user experiences already familiar with AI innovations such as generative AI and language model proliferation is rapidly demanded across various fields,” adding, “With support from Qualcomm Technologies, the newly launched next-generation on-device AI edge system is expected to provide a competitive alternative for various AI models and systems requiring low-power on-device AI environments.”

Integrit launched its AI robotics platform AirPath® V2 series last May and introduced the first AI concierge robot supporting generative LLMs such as ChatGPT and Meta’s LLAMA. The company is actively collaborating with the largest domestic mobility companies and global smart factory solution firms to develop next-generation on-device AI devices. The AirPath V3 series is scheduled to go on sale starting August 10.
