[PollPoll News] Gallup: President Yoon's Approval Rating Rebounds to High 20% Range... Up 4%p to 29%

Gallup explained, "President Yoon's job approval rating had remained in the low to mid-20% range for the past three months after the general election, but this time it approached 30%," adding that the change was mainly seen among conservative and moderate groups as well as politically indifferent groups. Gallup further analyzed that the smooth completion of the U.S. visit without controversy and the current administration's pro-nuclear policies, including the selection of the Czech Republic as the preferred bidder for a nuclear power plant, positively influenced the approval rating.

Regarding party support, the People Power Party received 35%, the Democratic Party 27%, and the Innovation Party 8%. Compared to the previous week, the People Power Party's support remained the same, but the Democratic Party's support fell by 3 percentage points. On the widening gap in support ratings, it was noted, "The gap between the two major parties, which had been close after the general election, has widened for two consecutive weeks," and "This is presumed to be influenced by the intense competition among the four candidates in the People Power Party's leadership election."
