New Fashion Items from 'Coach' Unveiled on Zepeto... Style Battle Event

Naver Z, the operator of the metaverse platform 'Zepeto,' announced on the 19th that it has officially partnered with the American fashion brand Coach to unveil 11 new items from the 2024 Spring Collection and a video booth inspired by the collection's theme, 'Colorful World.'


Through this collaboration, Zepeto users can try on and purchase 11 virtual items representing Coach, including the iconic quilted shoulder bag, sunglasses, and shoes, for their avatars. Additionally, users can create photo and video UGC (User Generated Contents) at the Colorful World booth, share them with others, and enjoy Coach products within Zepeto.


The primary user base of Zepeto, Generation Z, values self-expression. Accordingly, Naver Z closely collaborates with the fashion industry to support users in expressing themselves in virtual spaces. The fashion brand Gucci has been working with Zepeto for over three years, and through collaboration with France’s leading luxury fashion brand Ami Paris, they have provided differentiated experiences.


Kang Hee-seok, Head of Business Development at Naver Z, stated, "Global brands like Coach include Zepeto as a key marketing campaign channel to build strong bonds with Zepeto’s Generation Z users and foster active fan communities. Zepeto aims to establish itself as a unique platform where brands complete special brand storytelling together with users."


Meanwhile, to commemorate the collaboration with Coach, Zepeto is hosting a style battle event within the platform until the 30th. Users coordinate their Zepeto avatars, reflecting their personas, using various Zepeto items and receive votes from other users. Wearing Coach’s virtual items increases the chances of winning, and the user with the most votes will receive real prizes such as the Coach quilted Tabby shoulder bag.
