Gukddeok Sold at 66 Carrefour Stores in Taiwan... "Global Business Expansion Including New Product Launch in the US in the Second Half"

EyesVision's wholly-owned subsidiary EN Creative's 'Nostalgic Elementary School Tteokbokki (Gukddeok)' announced on the 19th that four types of cup tteokbokki (Original, Spicy Carbonara, Spicy Jjajang, Spicy Flavor) and two types of shelf-stable rabokki (Original, Spicy Carbonara) have started selling at 66 Carrefour stores, a major retail chain in Taiwan.

A Gukddeok representative explained, "Among the cup tteokbokki products, two types (Original, Spicy Carbonara) sold out their first batch within a month after being introduced at the domestic convenience store CU, confirming customer popularity. Currently, they are also being sold at GS25, receiving steady responses along with our flagship Original Tteokbokki product."

Gukddeok is expanding various new tteokbokki products targeting the young MZ generation overseas, who have great interest in Korean food and culture due to the popularity of K-dramas and K-POP.

In June, they launched Rose Tteokbokki, which combines chewy wheat rice cakes with glutinous rice cakes, and Smile Potato Tteokbokki in collaboration with the global french fries brand McCain. Notably, Rose Tteokbokki has secured placement in major U.S. retail chains and will be supplied in the second half of the year.

A company representative stated, "Following our expansion into Russia and Taiwan in the first half of this year, we plan to enter major stores including 'Albert Heijn,' which operates over 1,000 stores locally in the Netherlands, in the second half. We will also attend trade fairs in Cambodia and Paris in the latter half of the year to continuously develop overseas sales channels and accelerate global business expansion."
