Prosecution Conducts Foot-and-Mouth Disease Raid on 'Jjuyang Extortion' Case... Three Days After Case Transfer YouTuber Gujeyeok (real name Lee Junhee), who is accused of receiving money from YouTuber Jjuyang by exploiting Jjuyang's weaknesses, voluntarily appeared at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on the 15th and announced that he would provide all recordings and related materials he possesses to the prosecution. In Gujeyeok's hands were a Bluetooth speaker brought to play the voice recordings of a prominent figure and a cellphone containing recordings and related materials, referred to as the "Golden Phone." According to the legal community on the 18th, the Criminal Division 2 of Suwon District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Jung Hyunseung) sent investigators to Gujeyeok's residence in Gyeonggi Province and other locations to secure related materials.

The search and seizure on this day came just three days after the case was transferred from the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, where a complaint against Gujeyeok had been filed.

Gujeyeok is accused of receiving 55 million won from Tzuyang on the condition that he would not reveal the past between Tzuyang and her ex-boyfriend. Gujeyeok explained the allegations by saying, "It was Tzuyang's side who first requested the service for risk management, and I reluctantly accepted the (service) contract." On the same day, through his YouTube channel, he denied the charges again, stating, "I absolutely did not extort or threaten Tzuyang, and I did not receive a single penny of shameful money."

Earlier, the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute claimed that Tzuyang was threatened by YouTubers including Gujeyeok and Jujak Gambalsa (Jeon Gukjin), using the fact that she had worked at a bar in the past as leverage.

Subsequently, Tzuyang herself revealed through a YouTube broadcast that she was forced to work while suffering from continuous violence and threats from her ex-boyfriend. This led to suspicions that cyber wreckers (a term referring to people who create content on socially sensitive topics) YouTubers were committing secondary harm against Tzuyang, which intensified criticism against them. After three people, including Gujeyeok who was identified as a cyber wrecker, were reported to the prosecution, the investigation into the 'Tzuyang extortion' case began.

Tzuyang's side also filed complaints with the prosecution against Gujeyeok, Jeon Gukjin, the operator of the Crime Research Institute, and anonymous threats.
