Operation of Large Pools, Shade Tents, Heat Relief Shelters, and Changing Room Facilities
Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 18th that it will operate a free children's water playground for 32 days from the 19th of this month to the 18th of next month for tourists visiting Hwangto Gaetbeol Land with their families during the summer vacation season.
The children's water playground includes large pools for infants and young children, large shade tents, heat shelters, changing rooms, and other convenience facilities. Operating hours are from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM (lunch break from 12 PM to 1 PM), and it is closed every Monday.
After enjoying the water playground, visitors can purchase meal kits and ready-to-eat meals on-site and cook them themselves at the 'View Restaurant Self Kitchen.' There are also various attractions such as a cafe, photo zones, special exhibitions, retro games, and hinoki foot baths.
Heo Jae-gyeong, head of the Muan Ecological Mudflat Office, said, "We are doing our best to prepare for the safe and clean operation of the water playground," and added, "We hope children can create cool summer memories with their families at Hwangto Gaetbeol Land during the hot summer season."
