The water playground located in Jeamsan Natural Recreation Forest in Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced that it will open from the 20th to welcome summer vacationers and operate until August 18.
The water playground operates daily from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and Boseong-gun has completed safety training and CPR education for safety personnel in advance to ensure the safe operation of the water playground within Jeamsan Natural Recreation Forest.
The Jeamsan Natural Recreation Forest water playground is popular among family travelers with children, as it features clear and cool valley water and is adjacent to lodging facilities such as campgrounds and recreation halls, as well as a forest adventure.
With a fully equipped campground facility right next to the water playground, it is considered the best vacation spot for campers who want to enjoy camping and summer vacation simultaneously. The pine forest campground offers healing under the large pine tree shade while listening to the sound of the forest and flowing valley water.
In addition to the water playground, Jeamsan Natural Recreation Forest offers 31 buildings with 56 rooms of lodging facilities within a lush 160-hectare forest, forest experience programs, and various activity experiences.
Moreover, the barrier-free deck path, which allows people with mobility difficulties to enjoy forest bathing with strollers or wheelchairs, is a beloved attraction nationwide, drawing many visitors every year.
In particular, the bear sled ride, measuring 15 meters in height and 238 meters in length, lets visitors enjoy nature while sledding through the forest with a view of the lake.
A county official said, “We are very pleased to open the water playground and will do our best to maintain and manage it so that many visitors think of Jeamsan Natural Recreation Forest as their first choice for summer vacation.”
