Support for Restoration in Nonsan, Chungnam
On the 18th, NongHyup Financial Group announced that the previous day, Kim Ik-su, Vice President of the Strategic Planning Division, along with the financial holding volunteer group, and executives and employees from NongHyup Chungnam Headquarters and Nonsan City Branch, visited farms affected by the heavy rain in Yeonmu-eup, Nonsan, Chungnam to assist with labor.
The volunteer group carried out removal of damaged crops and restoration work at watermelon farms in Yeonmu-eup, Nonsan City, which were flooded due to the heavy rain.
Lee Seok-jun, Chairman of NongHyup Financial Group, visited the flood damage site to quickly assess the damage status and is implementing comprehensive financial support measures to minimize farmers' losses, including prompt on-site investigations for crop disaster insurance compensation, support for agricultural policy funds, and deferment of interest payments and repayments on agricultural and livestock management funds.
Vice President Kim said, “Upon hearing the news of the rural areas damaged by the heavy rain, I came quickly to help, hoping to contribute even a small amount of labor,” and added, “NongHyup Financial will do its utmost not only in providing labor assistance but also through swift and comprehensive financial support measures to ensure that farm damages are promptly recovered.”
