Cloud Solution Usable Directly from Web Browser
Kakao VX, a platform company that adds fun to sports, is launching ‘Good Shot,’ an integrated golf course management system.
It is an innovative management solution for field golf courses. It features a cloud-based SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) that can be used directly from a web browser without the need for separate hardware or software installation. ‘Good Shot’ offers various functions such as customer management, reservations and check-ins, games, fee settlement, and sales operations.
‘Good Shot’ increases sales through close integration with golf reservation apps like Kakao Golf Reservation. Tee time reservation exposure and optimal price setting are more precise and user-friendly. Additionally, all tasks can be handled simply by logging in through a browser without installing any separate programs. Golf course operators can perform their duties without restrictions of time and space. It applies the latest security system based on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for safe use. The service will start in the Chungbuk and Jeonbuk regions from August.
Kakao VX is making various efforts to provide golfers with cheaper green fees through the revamp of the Kakao Golf Reservation membership (subscription) and to help golf courses increase sales by attracting golfers. From January to April this year, it operated a free shuttle bus connecting golf courses in Seoul and the Jeolla region, contributing to revitalizing the local economy and alleviating the concentration in the metropolitan area.
