Choi Sang-mok "Prepare Win-Win Measures for Delivery Apps in October" Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Choi Sang-mok is experiencing a day as a counselor during an on-site visit to the Jeju Small Business Support Center in the afternoon of the 17th, related to the comprehensive measures for small business owners.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Choi Sang-mok announced on the 17th, "We will prepare a win-win plan for delivery apps to support small business owners within October."


On the 17th, the Ministry of Economy and Finance stated that Deputy Prime Minister Choi visited the Jeju Small Business Support Center and the New Business Startup Academy in the afternoon to observe the support and education sites for small business owners and review key policy tasks.


Deputy Prime Minister Choi also took on the role of a daily counselor for small business owners. At the event, he emphasized, "We plan to carefully listen to the voices from the field of small business owners and make necessary improvements."


In particular, to resolve the delivery fee issue, which is a significant burden for small business owners, he explained that a 'Public-Private Joint Delivery App Win-Win Council' will be launched within this month, and a win-win plan will be prepared by October.


Separately, the government’s position is to announce specific measures by the end of next month to include a delivery fee support project for micro small business owners in next year’s budget proposal.


To check the recovery trend of inbound tourists, Deputy Prime Minister Choi visited Gangjeong Port in Seogwipo and said, "Starting next year, we will actively support the installation of unmanned automated immigration inspection gates at Gangjeong Port to reduce immigration inspection time," adding, "Through this, the stay time of cruise tourists will be extended, and the recovery of inbound tourism is expected to lead to the revitalization of the local economy."
