Bucheon-si and Invest Korea Sign Business Agreement to Attract Foreign Direct Investment Companies

Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with Invest Korea to attract foreign direct investment companies through a strategic partnership.


Invest Korea is a national investment attraction agency established within the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). It provides various services related to domestic investment, including consultations and follow-up management for foreign companies.


Through this agreement, the city will utilize Invest Korea's abundant expertise to strengthen information exchange and networks aimed at attracting foreign direct investment.


In particular, to attract foreign companies to the Bucheon Daejang 1st and 2nd Urban High-Tech Industrial Complexes, which will be completed by 2030, the city plans to dispatch delegations overseas and hold consultation meetings to achieve tangible results.

Kim Tae-hyung, CEO of Invest Korea, said, "Bucheon is an attractive city with innovative industries and excellent infrastructure," adding, "This agreement will contribute to Bucheon's leap as a global investment hub."


Jo Yong-ik, Mayor of Bucheon, also emphasized, "We will revitalize corporate attraction through this business agreement and create new jobs to advance as a sustainable self-sufficient city."
