Boram Group announced on the 17th that Chairman Choi Cheol-hong has won the 'Korea Best Management Award' in the leadership category for three consecutive years.
The Korea Best Management Award is a ceremony that selects companies and managers who have contributed to the national economy by practicing customer satisfaction management through service quality improvement via innovation and fulfilling social responsibilities.
Since founding the company in 1991, Chairman Choi has led the funeral service industry for over 30 years. Based on funeral services, the group has established its corporate structure with affiliates in manufacturing, construction, distribution, IT, and bio sectors. Recently, it has grown into a full-fledged total life care specialized company by engaging in new businesses such as bio-jewelry, MICE, pet care, and silver care.
Chairman Choi has led the group's social contribution efforts, including community-tailored social contribution programs and the establishment of the 'Boram Hallelujah' professional table tennis team to promote community sports. Upholding the fundamental spirit of funeral service companies, 'mutual aid,' he maintains the management philosophy of 'customer-centered sharing management' and carries out various contribution projects in areas such as caring for the underprivileged, talent donation, and resource recycling.
Meanwhile, on the same day, Boram Group also received the Minister's Award in the social contribution category from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
Chairman Choi stated, “We will continue to strive to become a company that coexists with various publics by inheriting the spirit of mutual aid through the customer-centered sharing management philosophy. In particular, as a total life care specialized company, we will do our best to faithfully fulfill our role and exert a positive influence on customers and local communities.”
