On the 16th, their agency RBW and DSP Media announced that Kara will pre-release the track 'Hello' from their digital single 'I Do I Do' on music platforms at 6 PM.

DSP Media explained, "'Hello' is a ballad centered around the greeting 'annyeong,' which means both meeting and parting. The song captures the various meanings of 'annyeong,' such as the joy of reunion and the sorrow of farewell, through the members' calm voices, intensifying the emotional depth."

'Hello' is an unreleased track originally planned for Kara's 4th full album 'Full Bloom,' released in September 2013. The song was completed as a six-member full group version by adding Goo Hara's Korean-recorded vocals before her passing. This song was previously released in Japanese through Goo Hara's single 'Midnight Queen,' which came out in November 2019.

Kara, who debuted in 2007 alongside Girls' Generation and Wonder Girls, led the golden era of 2nd generation girl groups. They became the first Korean female artists to hold a solo concert at Tokyo Dome in Japan, establishing themselves as representative singers of the new Korean wave with their approachability, popularity, and explosive success at the time.

Originally debuting as a four-member group in 2007 with Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Kim Sunghee, and Nicole, Kara restructured into a five-member group the following year after Kim Sunghee left and Goo Hara and Kang Jiyoung joined. As a growth-type idol group, they formed a strong bond with their fandom during their active years and showed passionate performances. However, in 2014, Nicole and Kang Jiyoung left the team consecutively, and Heo Youngji joined as a new member that year. In 2022, to celebrate their 15th anniversary, Nicole and Kang Jiyoung returned, and the group resumed activities as a five-member unit.

In particular, member Goo Hara led Kara's activities in Japan with her resemblance to popular Japanese singer Namie Amuro and her bright personality.

Kara will release the digital single 'I Do I Do' on the 24th. Although fans had high expectations for full group activities, recent news of member Park Gyuri suffering from cheekbone and orbital fractures suggests that full group activities will be difficult for the time being. Kara will hold their solo concert '2024 KARASIA' next month in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
