Review of Current Issues and Discussion on Major Project Development Directions

Yeongcheon City, North Gyeongsang Province, will conduct key business briefings for 24 newly appointed department heads from July 15 to 18 in the mayor's office, following personnel changes in July.

This round of briefings, presided over by Mayor Choi Kimoon of Yeongcheon, will be attended by the deputy mayor, department heads, and responsible staff. The focus is on open communication, reviewing current issues for each department, and freely discussing future directions and measures for major projects.


The main projects reported include the Yeongcheon Horse Racing Park development project, the development of station areas in preparation for the opening of Daegu Metro Line 1 in 2030, the construction of the Yeongcheon City Museum, other large-scale regional projects, the establishment of an integrated metropolitan public transportation transfer system between Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, the creation of public parking lots, and the installation of smart bus shelters for fine dust protection?initiatives expected to have a significant impact on residents.


Mayor Choi Kimoon stated, "Please do your utmost to establish close cooperation with North Gyeongsang Province and central government ministries, ensure the smooth implementation of city projects, and create a happy Yeongcheon by fostering open communication both between departments and with the citizens."
