Boryeong City Selected as Outstanding Institution in Disaster Management Evaluation by Ministry of the Interior and Safety

Secured 80 Million Won in Special Grant Tax

Boryeong City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 15th that it has been selected as an excellent institution in the disaster management evaluation conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The Ministry evaluated a total of 338 disaster management agencies this year, focusing on practical activities such as the level of interest shown by agency heads and the actual operation of response systems.

The city received an overall excellent evaluation and was selected as an outstanding institution. As a result, it will receive an institutional commendation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety, along with a special grant of 80 million won.

Mayor Kim Dongil stated, "Being selected as an excellent institution is the result of our continuous efforts to strengthen disaster management capabilities," and added, "We will continue to enhance our disaster management system with the highest priority on the safety of our citizens."
