Spokesperson Jeong said, "I feel a great sense of responsibility to take on the role of spokesperson during these difficult times," adding, "I will frequently engage with the media to explain President Yoon Suk-yeol's and the government's national governance philosophy in more detail."
She continued, "I will clearly state what is right and what is not," and added, "A spokesperson is not only a position for speaking but also for listening. I will convey messages well while listening carefully."
