Jinju City Council Holds Appointment and Launch Ceremony for 2nd Nuri Communication Support Group

Creative Content Production Expected

The Jinju City Council in Gyeongnam held the ‘2nd Jinju City Council Online Communication Supporters Appointment and Launch Ceremony’ to reaffirm its commitment to creating and managing participatory content for a more approachable and communicative council.


The Online Communication Supporters, appointed on the 13th, were selected through an open recruitment process from June this year in three categories?YouTube, Instagram/Facebook, and blogs?in order to diversify content production formats compared to last year.

Jinju City Council Holds Appointment and Launch Ceremony for 2nd Nuri Communication Support Group Chairman Big Seunghung is awarding the appointment certificate of the Nuri Communication Support Group, which produces participatory content to realize a council that communicates closely with citizens.

For the next year, they will actively promote news from the Jinju City Council through various SNS channels and participate in offline activities to strengthen communication between the council and citizens.


The Jinju City Council Online Communication Supporters are SNS supporters who voluntarily participate and are either skilled in content creation or have consistently managed SNS channels suitable for delivering local council news. Most participants are netizens residing in Jinju.


On this day, Chairman Baek Seunghung presented the letters of appointment and said, “The familiarity and influence of new media are irreplaceable. I believe that if the Online Communication Supporters are active as individual content creators, essential council information will be fully delivered to citizens,” expressing his welcome and support.


Following the launch ceremony, Lee Yeji, CEO of Grape ENL, gave a capacity-building lecture for the supporters titled “Support the Supporters,” introducing a unique approach to the subject.


She passionately explained the importance of attentive listening to produce quality content by prioritizing others’ interests, delivering persuasive messages based on more than three grounds, and utilizing the SCAMPER technique to foster creative problem-solving, thus inspiring the supporters and receiving a positive response.


Meanwhile, since officially opening its SNS channels on four platforms last year, the Jinju City Council has posted over 600 pieces of content and secured about 3,000 subscribers, helping citizens easily access council activities in their daily lives.
