Greenplus Enters Salad Market with Bold Move: "Supplying to Coupang"

Greenplus, a smart farm specialized company, is stepping up efforts to increase the volume of smart farm crops.

Greenplus announced on the 15th that its subsidiary Green K Farm will start supplying 'salad vegetables' to Coupang from this month.

Green K Farm, together with With, provides services such as preprocessing, manufacturing, and distribution of 'European Salad.' With Co., Ltd. operates the fresh food brand 'GREEN RABBIT' and currently distributes over 80 products on Coupang.

Through this contract, Green K Farm secured a distribution network by supplying salad products to Coupang. Green K Farm's smart farm, the 'vertical farm,' has the advantage of high space efficiency and is unaffected by climate, enabling stable crop supply year-round despite heatwaves and monsoons. The company plans to further strengthen its position in the domestic fresh food market through this.

Park Jeong-gi, CEO of Green K Farm, said, "Green K Farm's smart farm can supply various salad vegetables in high quality throughout all four seasons," adding, "We will reliably provide fresh smart farm vegetables to over 20 million Coupang customers."

He continued, "With this contract, we expect to further strengthen our position in the domestic fresh food market and establish ourselves as a leader in eco-friendly smart farms," emphasizing, "We will strive to become a global smart farm company beyond being number one in Korea."
