Beauty Device 'Cellunic Medispa Pro' Launched

Seragem has taken a step closer to becoming a comprehensive home healthcare company by expanding its business area, which was previously focused on massage beds, into ‘beauty’.

On the 15th, Seragem announced that it launched the beauty device ‘Cellunic Medispa Pro’ last month to help users perform skincare at home. The Cellunic Medispa Pro is equipped with four specialized technologies for skin health, including radio frequency and ultrasound. It provides skincare treatments such as elasticity and exfoliation management. Based on Seragem’s healthcare expertise, technologies such as ‘Toning Shot’ specialized in exfoliation care and ingredient absorption, ‘Firming Shot’ for skin elasticity, ‘Silky Shot’ for defining the face line, and ‘Calming Shot’ to soothe the skin and prevent moisture loss have been applied.
In the case of the Toning Shot, it temporarily forms micro-holes and absorption pathways on the skin through instantaneous voltage to manage exfoliation. This helps the active ingredients in cosmetics penetrate deep into the skin. The Firming Shot promotes elasticity through radio frequency, and the Silky Shot promotes skin texture refinement through microcurrents. The Calming Shot uses dual ultrasound technology applied in droplet lifting procedures, with vibration energies at two frequencies, 3 MHz and 10 MHz, stimulating the epidermis and dermis layers to aid collagen activation and moisture management.
Seragem plans to introduce the Cellunic Medispa Pro to over 130 Well Cafes nationwide, which are cafe-style directly operated stores. This is to enable customers to easily experience the device and proceed to purchase. At Well Cafes, customer interest is high, with over 60,000 customers having experienced the skincare program that started in November last year as of the end of last month. A Seragem official said, “At CES held in the United States earlier this year, we presented seven areas to contribute to consumers’ better lives: spine, circulation, exercise, rest, nutrition, mental health, and beauty. Beauty can be seen as a diversification of product lines to expand our business area into home healthcare.”
