On the afternoon of the 11th (local time), the Samsung Electronics Olympic Experience Center was set up on the Champs-?lys?es in Paris, France. Using the 'Galaxy Z Fold6' provided there, I had a conversation with foreign staff present on site. According to Samsung Electronics, the number of visitors to the experience center is 400 on the day with the fewest visitors before the Olympic season, 2,000 on weekdays, and 3,000 on weekends. At 4 p.m. local time on the 11th, 125 Champs-?lys?es, Paris, France. On the street lined with global luxury brand stores such as Louis Vuitton and Dior, Samsung Electronics' Olympic Experience Center is set up. Amy, a staff member here, said, "So far, many visitors are Spaniards on vacation, but as the Olympics approach, we expect many global tourists to visit," adding, "Many influencers also came the day before." According to Samsung Electronics, before the Olympic opening, the number of visitors is as low as 400 at the minimum, with an average of 2,000 on weekdays and about 3,000 on weekends visiting the experience center. After the opening of the 2024 Paris Olympics on the 26th, as Amy mentioned, weekday visitors are also expected to increase, with an average of over 3,000 visitors per day. Communication with Amy was done using the 'Galaxy Z Fold6' translation function conversation mode available in the experience space.
At the experience center, visitors can see and try new products such as the foldable phones Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold6, wearable devices Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds Pro, as well as 'Galaxy Artificial Intelligence (AI).' Visitors can also see 2024 Paris Olympic-themed phone cases and goods (souvenirs) applicable to Galaxy phones. The experience center on Champs-?lys?es will operate until September 30 and is open to everyone.

This space, created in collaboration with French master architect Jean Nouvel, features blue and white colors, presenting a sophisticated atmosphere from the entrance. Park Jung-mi, Executive Director of the MX Business Division Marketing Team, said, "Jean Nouvel is known as the architect of light and has built structures using transparent materials," adding, "You can also see how the colors arranged in the experience center change depending on the angle and amount of sunlight." She continued, "Inspired by the French salons of the 17th and 18th centuries where people gathered to share ideas and create trends, we designed the space with the concept of 'Openness.'"
On one side, there is a space where visitors can take photos of the Z Flip6 and even print them. Without a stand, the Z Flip6 is slightly folded in 'Flex Mode' on the photo printer, and visitors can take pictures by folding and unfolding their palm gestures while looking at the cover screen. The 'Auto Zoom' feature on the cover screen automatically adjusted the composition. After taking the photo, by attaching a sticker of 'Phryzu,' the mascot of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, and pressing print, a business card-sized Olympic commemorative photo was produced.

There is also a space where young generations can experience official Olympic sports like breaking and skateboarding using Galaxy products. For breaking, when a character on the screen shows a dance example, visitors can follow it and record a short-form video. A Galaxy Z Flip6 in Flex Mode is installed at chest height and near the feet, allowing visitors to experience dynamic camera work. The reporter only followed the basic moves through the tutorial, but it was quite difficult to replicate the cool atmosphere shown in the example. For skateboarding, a mobile game format is provided, allowing visitors to experience skateboarding competitions on the large 7.6-inch screen of the Z Fold6.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics has been an official partner of the Olympics and Paralympics for nearly 40 years. In line with the 2024 Paris Olympics slogan, 'Games Wide Open,' Samsung Electronics set its campaign message as 'Open always wins.'
