Seobinggo Aper Hangang Popular as Celebrity Residence
Han Hyo-joo, Soo Ae, Footballer Kim Ki-hee Also Purchased
Singer Jang Yoon-jung and broadcaster Do Kyung-wan, a married couple, have recently purchased the luxury villa 'Aper Hangang' for 12 billion KRW in full cash, which is emerging as a popular residential area among celebrities.
According to the real estate industry on the 14th, along with Jang Yoon-jung and Do Kyung-wan, BTS member J-Hope, actors Gong Yoo, Kim Go-eun, Han Hyo-joo, Soo Ae, the couple Ryu Deok-hwan and Jeon Soo-rin, and soccer player Kim Ki-hee have recently acquired units in 'Aper Hangang.' Aper Hangang is a luxury residential complex located in Seobinggo-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, consisting of one building with five basement floors and ten above-ground floors, 26 households with exclusive areas ranging from 205 to 273 square meters. This villa is situated between the Han River and Yongsan Park, offering simultaneous views of both, and the penthouse provides a view of Namsan Tower.
The unit purchased by Jang Yoon-jung and Do Kyung-wan is a duplex penthouse. The total exclusive area of this unit across the upper and lower floors is 273.98 square meters. The unit acquired by J-Hope has a total exclusive area of 273.86 square meters across two floors. Gong Yoo purchased a unit with an exclusive area of 240.70 square meters; Kim Go-eun, Han Hyo-joo, and the couple Ryu Deok-hwan and Jeon Soo-rin acquired units of 241.32 square meters; Soo Ae's unit is 246.18 square meters; and soccer player Kim Ki-hee's unit is 226.87 square meters. Except for the couple Ryu Deok-hwan and Jeon Soo-rin, all of these purchases were reportedly made entirely in cash.

Built by Hyundai Construction, Aper Hangang was completed in June. The architecture was designed by Professor Yoo Hyun-joon of Hongik University’s Department of Architecture, who is well-known for appearing on the entertainment program 'Alssul Sinjab.' Professor Hong designed this villa with the concept of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. Residents can customize their terraces as home cafes, private gardens, or mini camping sites according to their preferences. Additionally, private lifestyle convenience services are provided, including chauffeur-driven limousine service, monthly sterilization and disinfection cleaning service for each unit, laundry and car wash services. The community within the complex includes fitness facilities, screen golf, GX rooms, an AV room for movie viewing, soundproofed lesson rooms, and mini lounges.
The general unit sale price of Aper Hangang is approximately 6 billion KRW, and the penthouse sale price is about 12 billion KRW. Currently, the resale price for general units is formed around 9 to 10 billion KRW.
Meanwhile, Jang Yoon-jung and Do Kyung-wan had jointly purchased a 244-square-meter unit at Nine One Hannam in March 2021 for 5 billion KRW and lived there until they sold the unit last April for 12 billion KRW, the highest price for that size. The couple attracted significant attention last month when it was revealed that they sold their Nine One Hannam unit and purchased a unit at Aper Hangang, earning a capital gain of 7 billion KRW in just over three years.
