My dog lunged but no apology
"Got choked up thinking of my cousin working as a delivery guy"
In an apartment complex in Gyeonggi Province, a delivery worker who was making early morning deliveries was nearly attacked by a resident's pet dog, but instead of receiving an apology, the worker was met with rude behavior, according to a shared story.
On the 14th, according to the online community Bobae Dream, an incident occurred around 4 a.m. the previous day at an apartment in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi Province, where a delivery worker was threatened by a pet dog during a delivery.

The author explained that while the delivery worker was trying to enter the apartment by entering the communal entrance password, a medium-sized dog suddenly appeared from somewhere and lunged at the delivery worker, causing the worker to scream.
Fortunately, the dog stopped the attack after being restrained by its owner, but instead of apologizing to the sighing delivery worker, the owner snapped, "What kind of delivery are you doing at this early hour?"
The author shared, "Personally, my cousin works as a delivery worker, so I felt very sorry for the delivery person. I waited until they came out and gave them a drink, and they were very grateful," adding, "'Don't worry too much about what just happened. I'm embarrassed because of the strange neighbor,' I told them, and the delivery worker smiled and said, 'Still, there are many more people who encourage me like this by giving me drinks.'
They continued, "No matter how harsh the world is, a proper apology can make the world a little softer. I don't understand why so many people nowadays cause trouble by failing to do something so simple."
Meanwhile, on the 22nd of last month, controversy arose when it was revealed that someone presumed to be an apartment owner in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, had written abusive graffiti on a delivery worker's vehicle.
A person identified as A, who works as a delivery worker, shared a photo showing red marker graffiti on the back door of a white delivery vehicle that read, "Stop hogging the elevator, you XXX!"
A stated that although they reported the incident, they do not expect the person who wrote the abusive words to be caught, and added, "I am posting this with the hope that people will be a little kinder to the hardworking delivery workers. Please help ensure that the sweat and passion of those who work day and night to safely deliver customers' precious items do not go to waste. Every kind word gives us strength."
