40 University Counseling Booths Set Up
One-on-One Consulting and Mentoring Also Available
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 14th that it will hold the "2025 Academic Year Early Admission University Fair" on the 20th at the Dankook University Jukjeon Campus Gymnasium.
This fair will offer one-on-one college admission consulting reflecting various educational demands, including general, physical education, arts, and rural admission tracks, 40 university consultation booths, and a "Department Mentoring" program featuring university student mentors from popular majors.
The one-on-one consulting is provided by over 50 career and admission counselors affiliated with the Gyeonggi-do Admission Information Center and Yongin Office of Education, offering tailored consultations to local high school seniors and their parents. The city completed recruitment through pre-registration on the university fair website starting from the 27th of last month.
The university consultation booths will include 40 universities, mainly from the metropolitan area. Each university will provide information on key evaluation criteria for early admission and general university details. This fair will also operate a separate booth for arts-specialized universities to provide detailed and professional information to examinees interested in practical arts fields.
The university student mentoring program is designed to assist examinees by having student mentors currently enrolled in popular majors introduce their departments and share guidance on major selection and preparation processes.
Additionally, the venue will screen special lecture videos on early admission strategies by renowned instructors for each academic track. These lectures will be available for free viewing on the university fair website.
The city also plans to hold a second half university admission fair in December to prepare for regular admissions.
