The university announced that its "Well-Life Oriented TU-Crossover" program, involving nine departments, is being operated year-round and is receiving positive feedback from the local community.
This project aims to strengthen practical field competencies, with nine departments from the College of Health, Welfare, and Education and the College of Beauty and Arts participating in various "Well-Life" activities. On the 26th, it is scheduled to be held at the Namgu Senior Welfare Center in Busan.
On June 28, a variety of activities took place at Yongho Community Welfare Center for seniors and others, including health checkups, CPR training, smartphone usage education, nail art, cognitive function tests, art therapy, and balance rehabilitation exercises.
Bomi Park, a nursing student and team leader who participated in the program, said, "Through TU-Crossover, I feel proud to help others by applying the knowledge and skills I learned in the nursing department," and added, "We regularly volunteer at two welfare centers and communicate with the seniors."
Professor Hyunju Lee of the Department of Nursing stated, "We are conducting practical education that applies specialized knowledge from various departments to promote community health," and added, "Based on this, we will continue to contribute to nurturing locally rooted talent."
